This is Po from Kung Fu Panda.
He is literally an overweight
Who works at a fast food restaurant
With the worst luck
And yet becomes
Who still acts
Who still hates hiking
He uses his fat
To his advantage
And doesn’t let
His tragic past
This has been a Po appreciation post.
So, let me get this straight.
You motherfuckers are so upset that other people are trying to help the environment, which in no way negatively impacts you, that you are spending money to make your vehicles worse, in some futile fucking attempt to “get back” at people for driving fuel efficient cars, or whatever? You are fucking hurting other people and YOURSELVES in this. How fucking petty are you?
Do you stupid shitlords have ANY fucking idea how cars work? Do you fucking know why your trucks’ exhaust systems are designed the way they are? Are you AT ALL aware of how much fucking work goes into designing the exhaust system in order to produce the best efficiency and power? You idiots are fucking ruining that, because you want to, what? What does this fucking prove?
Have you ever gotten out of your fucking backwoods shacks to visit a large city? Hell, go to fucking Atlanta. I lived there for years, and even there the pollution is horrible. Just from normal cars, not even your mangled pieces of shit. And you dumbasses want to make that worse? Are you at all aware of the shit you’re breathing in because of this? You might as well start smoking three packs a day, because you’re already well on your way to throat and lung cancer.
But, I guess this is all just a kneejerk reaction. You feel intimidated. Because, you know that European and Asian cars routinely and consistently outperform American cars in every way, all while being cleaner and more fuel efficient.
I NEVER NOTICED THE CORNER OF HIS MOUTH TWITCHING UP
Okay, I’m not one to post rants about things but this, this fucking scene right here is easily like the most heart-wrenching, disgusting and fucked up part in this whole movie.
He was the love of her life, she literally gave up everything for him and he killed her for a bit of money. She spent years waiting for someone to find her and ask for her hand in marriage and the one man who actually does tells her that he’s done it by accident. She realizes that she can’t force him to love her and lets him go with the woman he truly cares for.
Emily is dead, at this point she’s realized that there most likely isn’t someone out there for her, not only has she died alone but now she has to spend all of eternity alone. This is a thought she’s had to have entertained more than once but now it’s her reality.
And then here he is, Barkis, the one who took everything away from her, every chance she ever had of happiness, standing in front of her openly mocking the pain she’s been through. Not only that, he says exactly what it is she’s been terrified of hearing; that she will never be loved the way that she wants and it devastates her. You can see it on her face.
